A division of ZIPP GROUP · Zhongli, Taiwan
The torque you applied, as a number you can keep.
ZIPP GROUP has built industrial fastening tools since 1984. ZIPPTORK is the division that measures what those tools actually do at the joint, controls it, and turns it into a record — without replacing the tools already on the line.
Where ZIPPTORK sits
ZIPP GROUP works in three divisions. They share a factory, a supply chain and forty years of tooling experience, and they solve three different halves of the same job.
ZIPP TOOL
Impact wrenches, pulse tools, riveting and squeezing tools, construction breakers. Built for demanding environments, with shock- and vibration-reduced mechanisms.
ZIPP GEAR
High-accuracy gearing for motion control, robotics and automation.
ZIPPTORK
Real-time measurement, traceability, wireless connectivity and shock resistance — the layer that turns a conventional tool into a recorded process.
What we build
23 product families in 4 groups. Every one of them exists to put a number on a bolted joint, or to act on that number.

What the control actually achieves
The honest answer is a range, and it depends on two things: which mode the controller runs in, and which kind of tool is on the other end. These are the published bands.
| Mode | Tool | Control band | What it suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pressure | Air impact wrench | ±15% – 20% | Pre-tightening on the assembly line. No transducer in the drive train. |
| Pressure | Air pulse wrench | ±10% – 15% | A pulse tool delivers torque more evenly, so the same mode lands tighter. |
| Transducer | Air impact wrench | ±10% – 15% | A wireless rotary transducer sits between tool and socket and closes the loop. |
| Transducer | Air pulse wrench | ±5% – 10% | The tightest band the system reaches. Precision-critical joints. |
Measured separately, a TCC-2000 controller holds static torque to ±1% – 5% and dynamic torque to ±5% – 15%. Bands apply regardless of tool brand, mechanism or grade — that is the point of the approach.
The patent underneath
Anti-vibration mechanism
A patented double vibration-damping architecture carries the strain gauge, so the sensing element reads the joint instead of shattering against it. The catalog claims it as the field's only patented design that tolerates violent impact during bolting.
Control algorithm and device
A patented closed-loop algorithm shuts the tool off on a torque target rather than a timer, across continuous and discontinuous tools alike — impact, hammerhead, oil pulse and geared multipliers.
Anti-loosening sensing washer
For bolt load, a patented sensing washer reads clamp force directly on the joint and stays in place after assembly, with its own anti-loosening design.
Before, during, after
The same transducer does three jobs across the life of a fastening operation. This is genuinely a sequence, so it is numbered.
Before assembly
Check what the tool can really do and calibrate the torque setting. A rating plate is a claim; a torque tension tester is a measurement.
During assembly
Control and record the torque reaching the joint, instantly and wirelessly, to a tablet, a station display or a cloud server.
After assembly
Verify residual torque in torque or angle mode, and hand the result to a customer or an auditor as a searchable record.
Where it runs
The sectors ZIPP GROUP tools are built for — the ones where a loose bolt is an incident report, not an inconvenience.
